Nathaniel Bassey Goes to Nollywood!

0

Gospel star Nathaniel Bassey is taking his anointing from the pulpit to Nollywood!

The worship leader will make his acting debut in the faith-based movie, “Beautiful Feet” hitting cinemas February 19, 2027.

In the film, Bassey joins stars Tuke Morgan, Timmy Adebola and Kate Adepegba in a powerful story about a Lagos doctor who leaves everything to follow God’s call in a remote Northern village — only to face corruption and the real price of obedience.

While details of his character are yet to be revealed, his casting marks a significant expansion of his creative ministry beyond music.

Directed by Chim Onyibelanma and distributed by Nile Entertainment, “Beautiful Feet” is not just a movie, it’s a message on sacrifice, faith and courage.

At the centre of the story is Dr. Temi Bankole (Tuke Morgan), a successful Lagos doctor who abandons the security of city life to answer a spiritual calling in a remote village in Northern Nigeria. Her journey soon plunges her into a community battling corruption, forcing her to confront the true cost of conviction.

Through Temi’s story, the film asks tough questions: What does it really mean to surrender to a higher purpose? Can faith endure when obedience becomes costly?

According to director Onyibelanma, the film is a reflection on the gap between professing faith and living it — challenging audiences to consider what they are willing to sacrifice to do what is right.

More than entertainment, “Beautiful Feet” is a story of obedience, forgiveness and spiritual responsibility. It  hits Nigerian cinemas on February 19, 2027, via Nile Entertainment.
