Tonto Dikeh has said she would rather accept people’s absence than compromise her personal boundaries to accommodate disrespect.

“I would far rather adjust my life to your absence than compromise my boundaries to accommodate your disrespect,” Dikeh wrote.
She added that relationships should build people rather than diminish them, stressing that peace would always take precedence over proximity.

“Choosing myself isn’t arrogance. It is the ultimate act of stewardship over my life,” she added.
