Beautiful actress Oloruntimilehin Bukola, popularly known as Kiitan Bukola on Instagram, carries herself with panache. This was evident last Friday, when she stepped out as a guest speaker at the ScreenCircle Hangout 1.1 held at CcHub, Lekki, Lagos.
The wave-making actress, known for her versatility across Yoruba and English-language movies, had promised to reveal a side of her that is alien to her fans. She kept that promise, inspiring the gathering with her brilliance, thoughts and wealth of experience.
She earlier stated: “It’s called self-confidence, knowing who you are and owning it.”
ScreenCircle Hangout 1.1 is a gathering designed to bring creatives together in a relaxed and open space – a place to connect, share ideas, exchange experiences, have meaningful conversations, and build genuine relationships within the creative community.
As a community committed to connecting African filmmakers and creating spaces for collaboration, the organizers are poised to support gatherings that allow creatives to meet beyond the usual work conversations. And Kiitan’s involvement shows her willingness to embrace cross-fertilization of ideas in this modern age of digital revolution.
With her growing presence across digital platforms and cinema, Kiitan continues to evolve from actress to full-fledged filmmaker, using storytelling to entertain, inspire and connect with audiences while building greater ownership of her creative work.
