Fast-rising actress Joan Johnson turned a year older days ago and took to her Instagram page to reflect on her life journey.
In her birthday message to herself, the actress recounted several battles she has surmounted to become who she is today.
“Happy birthday to the one who has survived every storm and celebrated every victory. May this year be the one where you finally see yourself through the eyes of those who love you, realizing just how much light you actually bring into the world. Here is to more depth, more laughter, and the courage to keep becoming exactly who you want to be,” she wrote on Instagram.
Recall that two years ago, the actress revealed her plans to do away with friends and relationships that were not adding any value to her life.
According to her, some friends are like snakes in green grass, who pretend to be happy with her when they are not.
For that reason, the actress decided to cut off such friends as she marked her new age. But what remains uncertain is whether she kept to that resolution.
